ALIEN: COVENANT IN UTERO, A VR EXPERIENCE IN OCULUS. -Twentieth Century Fox, FoxNext VR Studio, RSA VR, MPC VR, a Technicolor, Mach1 and technology partner AMD RADEON and Dell Inspiron today announced the release of ALIEN: COVENANT In Utero, a virtual reality experience available on the Oculus platform started Alien Day, April 26th.
ALIEN: COVENANT in Utero will be available on all mobile platforms and connected platforms including Samsung Gear VR, Google Daydream View, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR on May 10th.
Alien Day, a gesture to the LV-426 planet from the iconic ALIEN films, will include fan-centered celebrations where countdowns continue to a new and highly anticipated chapter in the innovative ALIEN sci-fi thriller ALIEN: COVENANT, was released in theaters worldwide starting May 10th.
Produced by Ridley Scott and directed by David Karlak, ALIEN: COVENANT In Utero is a 360 degree virtual reality trip into a living nightmare that offers a dreadful and personal encounter like the alien Neomorph at birth. Fans will be able to feel the world around them and revive the first memories of the Neomorph in a deep environment.

People can see 360 videos on the Oculus platform starting April 26th. It will be available on the Oculus Video app on Oculus Rift or Samsung Gear VR, powered by Oculus. There will also be 360 experience trailers on Facebook.
MPC - a Technicolor company - is an award-winning VFX studio that creates special effects for ALIEN film: COVENANT. As the team is working on the set, MPC's virtual reality unit - MPC VR - simultaneously develops a profound experience. The asset for the film is immediately applied to the production of the ALIEN project: COVENANT In Utero. In addition, the shooting work for the pieces was done at the Technicolor Experience Center (TEC). Through the process of developing this virtual reality experience, MPC has utilized AMD RYZEN and RADEON technology base in DELL Inspiron system.

In an effort to bring this kind of virtual reality experience to a wide audience, AMD has teamed up with Alienware and Oculus Rift to extend the consumer experience with virtual reality through a planned 15-city cinema tour plan.
