Intel Announces New X-Series Core Processor with New Core i9 Processor

Intel Announces New X-Series Core Processor with New Core i9 Processor. -Intel processor is one of the god processors are much preferred by users, either from office workers, students, until the gamers are also suitable to use Intel. From generation to generation Intel Processors are always improving quality. For the preceding, the highest Core X generation of Intel is the i7 Processor, but now it is no longer because the latest Processor from Intel has officially released the i9 Processor. Surely many people who do not think there will be higher Processor than i7, but this is the fact.

The Intel Core i9 processor is officially released in Taipei, China at Computex 2017. So for now, the highest grade of Core X Series is held by Intel Core i9 which is still divided into Core i9 Extreme Series and Core i9 X Series. Intel Core X Series processors will use the latest generation platform with motherboards that use the latest sockets and chipsets as well.

At last year's Computex event, Intel launched its first 10-core CPU and the company switched to a megatasking world that would take a lot of resources. At that time, the 10-core CPU was launched at an expensive price of about $ 1700, but users are still a lot and they feel satisfied. And now, Intel upgraded it by launching a new Processor for Core X Series fans and equipped with 18-core and with Hyper Threading technology will be able to run 36 tasks at once.

The X-series Core has nine different products, of which all five processors have been announced and four more will arrive. Customers will have options ranging from 4 cores to 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 cores, which makes it one of the most diverse ranges in the market. Almost all models will have Intel Hyper-Threading, thus doubling the thread count.

Of the nine processors are divided into Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X. While under it there are two parts Kaby Lake-X, Core i5-7640x and Core i7-7740X. For Core i5-7640X has 4 cores without Hyper-Threading. It has a base clock speed of 4.0GHz and Turbo Boosts up to 4.2GHz. There are 6MB L3 Cache, 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes, and DDR4-2666 two-channel memory support. This processor has a 112W TDP and priced at $ 242

Core i7-7740X has 4 cores and 8 threads with HT. It has a base clock speed of 4.3GHz and Turbo Boosts up to 4.5GHz. There are 8MB L3 Cache, 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes, and DDR4-2666 two-channel memory support. This Proseosr has a 112W TDP and is priced at $ 339 .

While in the Skylake-X series, the basic version is Core i7-7740X which has 6 cores and 12 threads with HT. This processor has a base clock speed of 3.5GHz and Turbo Boosts up to 4.0GHz. There are 8.25MB L3 Cache, 28 PCIe 3.0 lanes, and four-channel DDR4-2400 memory support. This processor has a TDP of 140W and sold for $ 389 .

Core i7-7820X has 8 cores and 16 threads with HT. It has a base clock speed of 3.6GHz and Turbo Boosts up to 4.3GHz. It also has support for Intel Turbo Boost 3.0, which boosts the best cores of the bunch, in this case, 4.5GHz. There are 11MB L3 cache, 28 PCIe 3.0 lanes, and four DDR4-2666 memory support. It has a TDP of 140W and is priced at $ 599 .

Finally, there is Core i9-7900X, which has 10 cores and 20 threads with HT. It has a base clock speed of 3.3GHz, speed of Turbo Boosts 2.0 4.3GHz and 4.5GHz for Turbo Boost 3.0. There are 13.75MB L3 Cache, 44 PCIe 3.0 lanes, and four DDR4-2666 memory support. It has a TDP of 140W and is sold for $ 999 (Rp13 million). There are four more processors that have not been disclosed, ie Core i9-7920X, i9-7940X, i9-7960X, and i9-7980XE.

Unfortunately for now not much information is revealed about the four processors. More information and availability should be announced at Computex this week.
